Our staff will guide you through each stage of the funding process, sharing practical tips and techniques to help you complete applications successfully.

You will gain tips, real-life examples, and practical techniques to help your applications stand out.  

A certified course covering roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider; including assessing and managing incidents and how to treat injuries.

On completion participants will receive a First Aid certificate – valid for 3 years and recognised by HSENI.  Must attend both sessions to complete the course. 

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility – but it takes the right knowledge, skills, and confidence to do it well. This training will equip you with the tools to recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and work within legal and organisational frameworks.

Drawing on real case reviews and current legislation, it offers essential learning for anyone whose role brings them into contact with children, young people, or adults at risk.

Must attend both sessions to complete the course.

This certified course is suitable for anyone who will be taking on the role of fire warden in their organisation and has a duty to take charge and guide others to safety in the event of a fire.  

It includes a practical demonstration in the appropriate use of fire extinguishers and evacuation procedures.  

On completion learners will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

Delivered by our Age Friendly Coordinator, the course provides practical ideas and actions that can make a real difference in helping everyone feel valued, connected, and included.  

This session will guide you through the essential steps of completing and submitting your annual report to The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. Learn what to include in your Annual Monitoring Return, with clear explanations tailored to your charity’s size and structure.  

We'll explore common mistakes, demonstrate how to use the online system, and offer tips on maintaining good governance and record-keeping throughout the year.

This training focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil the role of Designated Safeguarding Officer.   

Participants will develop confidence and competence in carrying out their responsibilities, including recognising abuse and reporting concerns.    

(*Participants are required to have completed a level 2 safeguarding certification prior to commencing this course.) Must attend both sessions to complete the course.

Join us for a session exploring diversity, inclusion and good relations in Northern Ireland.

This course will help participants develop a greater understanding of different communities, challenge stereotypes, promote respect and inclusion, and explore how we can all play a role in building positive relationships within our communities.  

This accredited course is ideal for anyone handling or preparing food as part of a voluntary or community role.  

Course content includes food safety legislation, personal hygiene, cross-contamination, temperature control, cleaning practices, and proper food storage.   

On completion learners will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. Must attend both sessions to complete the course.   

This certified course is for anyone who deals with adult safeguarding in their community or voluntary group. It will provide useful information and guidance on your role and responsibilities as Champion or Appointed Person.

The course will help you determine the correct course of action in relation to safeguarding referrals and explore issues of consent, capacity, and coercion. It will also cover Health and Social Care Trust structures and processes.

To mark Data Privacy Week 2027 this training will help community groups develop good habits for handling personal information, keeping records secure, and protecting the privacy of members, volunteers, and service users.

Participants will leave with practical tips and easy-to-use guidance that can be applied in their everyday activities.

This training will explore the roles and responsibilities relevant to the committee of a community or voluntary group.

The session will provide an outline of key governance considerations and help participants develop their understanding of officer roles and procedures.

This in-person Walk Leader Training course will equip you to enrich your local community by leading regular walks and building a strong presence in your area.  

Over a  three hour session, you’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to safely organise and lead walks with your activities fully insured as a registered Walk Leader.  

You’ll also receive ongoing support from your local Walking for All Officer, including guidance and attendance at your first walk to help you get started with confidence.
