The Lisburn and Castlereagh Labour Market Partnership is currently recruiting for our upcoming WorldHost Supervising Customer Service Academy. This fully-funded two day workshop is the foundation for establishing a culture of excellence and driving business transformation.

Date: Monday 13th and Thursday 16th April 2026
Time: 09.30am to 4.00pm
Location: Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn
At the workshop, you'll learn how to develop a customer-focused culture within your business, understand how to build and motivate your team, monitor success and identify customer service gaps by providing supervisors with the vital skills they need to recognise the value of excellent customer service.

Who should take the workshop?
This workshop is aimed at those supervising customer service at an operational level and are responsible for ensuring their team deliver outstanding customer service, every time.
The academy will include:
- Customer service culture
- Identifying your customers
- Gathering, responding and applying customer feedback
- Identifying gaps in employee performance
- Developing your team
- Coaching for success
- Recruiting for success
- Service recovery
Positive outcomes
When staff put these skills into practice, it can lead to:
- increased revenue, repeat business, average spends and net sales,
- increased visitor spend in your local area,
- increased staff motivation, and therefore reduced staff turnover and absenteeism, and
- higher quality assurance ratings and improved scores on online review sites.
Eligibility criteria
- Businesses who are applying on behalf of staff must be based in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area
- Individuals applying must live in Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council and be aged 18+
